Vanarai has propagated family planning in several villages. During the last 10 years, the population growth rate in these villages has come down, as against the vast increase of population in the country. This will help to bring down the burden on the infrastructural facilities to be provided to the people accumulated in the cities, and pave a way for better planning of the cities.
