Vanarai which has done fundamental work in the sectors like Environment, Afforestation, Sustainable Integrated Rural Development etc., will be organizing Silver Jubilee Function on 1st October 2011 between 4.00 P. M. to 5.30 P. M. Hon. Prime Minister of India – Dr. Manmohan Singh will be the Chief Guest. Hon. Governor of Maharashtra – Shri K. Shankarnarayan will chair the function. Hon. Chief Minister of Maharashtra – Shri Prithviraj Chavan and Hon. Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra – Shri Ajit Pawar will be the Guest of Honour.
During this function, Sarpanch and Deputy Sarpanch of three villages namely Gawadewadi from Pune District, Varandh from Raigad District and a small village Zari from Latur District will be felicitated.
